I’m a mixed media artist, career confidence coach, wife, mother, and creator of beautiful work.

I stumbled into this industry after a long and successful career as a civil engineer and project manager for large transit projects. This feels like a radical change from how I used to spend my days, but I can also see some influences in my work from my past life as an analytical problem-solver who loves math. Geometric patterns soothe my desire for symmetry, but I’m able to balance that out with the abstract nature of some of my less structured work. I enjoy working with a neutral colour palette of earth tones, while livening things up with some more vibrant splashes of colour.

My work gives me the freedom to express myself in a way my engineering career never did. So many years conforming to the way things have ‘always been done’ have now opened up to experimenting with a variety of mediums and then converting that into vector art and repeating patterns. And I think I’m only just beginning to explore all the creativity that is inside me!
